Melbourne Storm are pleased to share the 2024 program for Women of Storm!
In the initiative's third year, Women of Storm will continue its mission to provide a platform to celebrate and empower women to drive positive change, inclusiveness and equality with its largest program to date, along with a new community and female pathways component.
Season Launch - Female Festival of Footy
One month after the beginning of the 2024 NRL season, Women of Storm will officially launch at NRL Victoria's Female Footy Festival on April 6.
Not only an annual season launch, the Female Footy Festival will also excitingly see the announcement of Storm's first Female Development Program - providing a clearer pathway for up-and-coming Victorian female rugby league players to begin their journey to first grade.
A first for the Club, the program will provide participants with the opportunity to find connections, enhance their strength, and develop their game skills, all while embodying confidence.
New Female Pathways Manager Pauline Poloai, will champion our development program, alongside building on our longer-term strategy.
Leadership Luncheon
Following on from the incredible Summer on the Lake luncheon in early 2023, Women of Storm will return in May with an array of special guest speakers to discuss the evolution of leadership at the Leadership Luncheon.
Guests will enjoy a two-course lunch with beverages at the beautiful Encore in St Kilda.

Women in League Round
Women of Storm will once again come to life during the annual NRL Women in League Round on August 3.
With the Round 22 event featuring a range of activities and content, including a bespoke merchandise range with a player warm-up tee and scarf, it's a date not to be missed!
Further to this, Storm will also host local women's rugby league teams at the game.
