As part of his preparations for the 2014 NRL season, Storm centre Will Chambers has joined the St.Kilda Football Club in Boulder, Colorado for their high altitude training camp.

Over the course of the trip Chambers will complete conditioning sessions with the Saints while also joining in with a number of skills based drills.

From the heraldsun.com.au yesterday:

MELBOURNE Storm centre Will Chambers has joined St Kilda.

But Storm fans can rest easy - the 25-year-old is not ditching the NRL club to join Karmichael Hunt in the AFL.

The Northern Territory product has tagged along for the Saints' high-altitude training camp to Colorado in a bid to gain an edge for the upcoming 2014 NRL season.

He follows in the footsteps of Storm teammate Cooper Cronk, who piggybacked on the Brisbane Lions' US training camp in last year's pre-season before going on to win his first Dally M Medal.

"Will was looking to do something a little bit different this pre-season," Storm football manager Frank Ponissi said.

"There was a real want from Will to do it.

"He's very close to Cooper, who last year spoke really highly of his experience last year.

"He was influenced by that, so he and I spoke about it a couple of times and (coach) Craig (Bellamy) supported it."
