Melbourne Storm, through premium partner Suzuki are supporting the Pozíères Remembrance Association, helping raise awareness for the Battle of Pozíères, an often forgotten Australian war story.
In 1916, Australian soldiers were thrown into a battle to take the town of Pozíères, located in northern France. After six weeks the AIF were withdrawn, 7,000 soldiers lost their life while 16,000 were wounded. This is the greatest loss of life ever suffered in battle by Australia.

To honour these soldiers, Suzuki has once again partnered with Pozíères to build an Australian Memorial Park on the site in the town of Pozíères. The park will provide a suitable memorial to those soldiers, and in addition will protect this land into the future.
If you would like to help Suzuki and Storm commemorate Pozíères, go to www.pozieresremembered.com.au and buy a brick for the memorial park.
