Scans today have revealed Melbourne Storm centre Justin O’Neill has suffered a small fracture in his left ankle. O’Neill suffered the injury late in the first half of Friday’s night match against the Warriors.
O’Neill will consult with a surgeon on Monday to discuss the best course of action and whether surgery is required. A further update on O’Neill will be provided early next week.
Winger Sisa Waqa will undergo a minor arthroscope on his left ankle after aggravating an old injury in the match against the Warriors. Waqa is expected to miss 3-4 weeks.
