Overview:
A product of the Melbourne Storm development system, Victorian Young Tonumaipea made his NRL debut in 2014.
The 22-year old acquitted himself well at first-grade level, making a smooth transition into the top flight, featuring in Melbourne’s opening 14 matches of the season.
Tonumaipea secured his future in Melbourne during the early stages of the 2014 season, agreeing to terms with the Club for a further two years.
In 2015, the youngster’s energy and vigour will be an asset for Craig Bellamy’s side on the wing.

2014 ‘Moment’:
The youngster’s highlight of 2014 undoubtedly came in Round 6 with his last gasp try after the siren against St. George Illawarra. Playing in his sixth first-grade match, Tonumaipea’s key role in the ‘Miracle in Melbourne’ was just his second try at NRL level.
