Storm fullback Billy Slater says his side will look to build on last weekend's victory over the Warriors when they travel to Canberra in Round 6.

Craig Bellamy's side sit fifth on the NRL ladder with three wins after five rounds but are yet to record back-to-back victories.

"Hopefully we can go up, put on a good performance and build on what we did last week," Slater said on Wednesday morning.

Storm hold a good record in Canberra having won four out of their last five matches in the nations capital however Slater is adamant the road trip will not be easy against a rejuvenated Raiders.

"They seem like they're focusing a lot on their defence," Slater said.

"They're not going to be easy there in Canberra, they will be looking to get home and perform really well in front of their home crowd."

We return to AAMI Park in Round 7 to host the Roosters. Be there on Saturday 18 April, 7:30pm.
