Storm five-eighth Blake Green says Melbourne have a number of good candidates ready to fill the void left by injured halfback Cooper Cronk.
Ahead of Melbourne's Monday night meeting with the Eels at AAMI Park, Green is preparing to play with a new partner in the halves after lining up alongside Cronk for Storm's opening 12 games of the season.
"It's obviously really disappointing for the team and disappointing for him," Green said on Tuesday when asked about Cronk's injury.

"I'll probably still play the same, maybe I'll talk a little more than I have to.
"We've got a pretty good structure in place.
"Everyone knows their role, everyone is really good at playing it and we're really effective when everyone does that."
With Cronk out and the halfback position vacant, Green said the options weren't just limited to playmakers Hampton and Nona who have both performed strongly for Storm's feeder teams in the Intrust Super Cup so far this year.
"We've got plenty of good candidates here to jump in the halves and play alongside me," Green said.
"Benny Hampton and Shaun Nona have been doing a great job in the Queensland Cup. They're more than capable of coming in, Kurt Mann has also had some time there before and so has Tohu (Harris).
"I'm sure whoever comes in will do a good job for us."
