Storm winger Marika Koroibete was yesterday cited by the NRL’s Match Review Committee for a dangerous throw in Melbourne’s Round 2 victory over Gold Coast.
Koroibete was charged for a 64th minute tackle against Titans centre Nathan Davis which was graded as a Level 1 Dangerous Throw by the Committee. An early plea will see the 24-year old receive a reprimand and 93 loading points while an unsuccessful challenge of the charge will see the winger miss one week.
Melbourne Storm have until 12pm Tuesday to decide whether they accept or contest the charge.
Be at AAMI Park when Storm host the Knights on Saturday 2 April from 3pm.
