Round 7, 2015 – it was a rain soaked night in Melbourne as 12,860 fans braved the conditions at AAMI Park to see two teams with premiership credentials do battle.
Storm were looking for their third straight win of the season but had lost their last two games against the Roosters.
Trent Robinson’s men were also hungry for a win as they arrived in Melbourne on the back of consecutive defeats.
The visitors very nearly made a dream start when Mitchell Pearce put a grubber kick in behind the Storm line, only for the football to trickle just beyond the grasp of Mitchell Aubusson.
