For years the Melbourne Storm have asked difficult questions of their opposition.
As they attempt to exploit a rare hole in the AFL fixture they will ask another: Does the AFL’s polo-playing boss Gillon McLachlan like rugby league?
McLachlan is one of a number of high-profile AFL figures who will be invited to the Storm’s final home and away game against Cronulla on Saturday, September 3.
The reason? McLachlan and everyone else in the AFL have that weekend free because of that competition’s new pre-finals bye.
