It was a season that started and ended in good form for Will Chambers while the middle part was curtailed by injury.

Chambers suffered a foot injury in Round 6 against the Bulldogs and was forced to spend three months on the sidelines.

He made his return in Round 19, lining up alongside rookie sensation Suliasi Vunivalu on Storm’s right edge. It is a combination that will no doubt continue to grow as they spend a full pre-season together.

Chambers averaged 115 metres per game this year and scored three tries, including a double in a Round 2 win over the Titans.

His other try came in the Grand Final, where he was arguably Storm’s best-a-field, finishing with a team-high 176 metres.

The 28-year-old will look to head into the summer full of running and make a return to representative football in 2017.
