After being on the rise last year, Cameron Munster well and truly arrived at NRL level in 2016.
Consistent, tough and flawless at fullback, Munster showed a level of maturity well beyond his 44 games of experience.
The 22-year-old was rewarded at the end of the season by being named the Club’s Most Improved Player.
He lined up in the centres for Storm’s season opener against the Dragons before an injury to Billy Slater in that game saw Munster play out the remainder of the season in the No.1.
He ranked in the top three at the Club for metres, line breaks and try assists. He also ranked second in the NRL for kick return metres.
Munster was a certainty under the high ball throughout the season, making few errors as he became a pillar of the best defence in the competition.
