The must-see game of 2017 will once again be the ANZAC Day blockbuster between Storm and the Warriors at AAMI Park.
This traditional fixture will enter its eighth year having attracted an average crowd of 22,500 fans since it first began in 2009.
Storm hold a slight edge over this time having won four, lost two and drawn once against their Trans Tasman rivals.
The Warriors will be hungry to bounce back after leaving AAMI Park last ANZAC Day after suffering a 42-0 defeat, the second biggest margin between these two teams.
For the 2017 clash there will be plenty for the Kiwi-contingent in Melbourne to get excited about with seven New Zealand internationals set to take part.
Also there is good news for those that enjoy doing the ANZAC Day footy double, with the 7pm kick-off timing perfectly with the conclusion of the Collingwood-Essendon game across the road.
April 25, 2017 – a MUST for any Melburnian!
