Sia Soliola has been sent straight to the NRL Judiciary following his high shot on Billy Slater on Saturday night.
The Match Review Committe have referred the dangerous contact to the head and neck of the Melbourne fullback to the judiciary with the hearing set for 6:00pm Tuesday night at Rugby League Central.
Slater left the field on a stretcher in the 51st minute after receiving a heavy head knock.
Slater gave a ‘thumbs up’ as he was carried off and was able to communicate after the game.
He will be closely monitored by the Club’s medical staff throughout the week.
“He is a bit dazed at the moment,” Craig Bellamy said following the match on Saturday night.
“It was a pretty heavy knock…he is talking but he isn’t feeling too good.
“We will just have to see how he goes throughout the week.”
Meanwhile, Raiders outside back Jordan Rapana has also been charged for a shoulder charge on Nelson Asofa-Solomona from last night's clash. The winger can accept a one week ban with an early plea.
