Just when you thought you couldn’t be more impressed by Suliasi Vunivalu, the Flying Fijian continues to amaze.
Throughout 2017 their has been no second year blues for the dynamic winger who made his first-grade debut in Round 7, 2016.
On Sunday, Vunivalu’s 38th minute try was ironically his 38th across his opening two seasons in the NRL, equaling the best ever start to a career in terms of tries.
Alex Johnston, Larry Corowa, Reg Gasnier and Ron Roberts hold the record for most tries in the first two seasons of a career with 38. Vunivalu has now equaled that mark with five matches remaining in the regular season.
