18' TRY MELBOURNE! Christian Welch slices through a gaping hole in defence! After three years without scoring a try he scores his second in 2018. Cameron Smith makes it three from three as he slots another thought the posts for an 18 point lead after as many minutes!

20' UNBELIEVABLE! ANOTHER TRY! This time it is Billy Slater who caps off one of the best team moves you will see ALL season!

22' TRY MELBOURNE, AGAIN! Young Tonumaipea joins the purple party! This is an unbelievable performance from the men in purple. Smith slots another conversion, that is a 30-point lead.

28' It is not only in attack but in defence the boys are getting the job done. Another big tackle forces the Warriors to knock on.

31' TRY MELBOURNE! Oh my word, Josh Addo-Carr!

38' The skipper adds another penalty before the break. It is a 38-point first half lead, that is not a typo.

41' Back underway at AAMI Park for the second half.

44' Try Warriors. They get their first of the night through David Fusitua.

55' We repel FIVE consecutive sets by New Zealand. An incredible defensive performance from out boys.

57' Curtis Scott has been taken from the field, limping heavily with a suspected ankle injury.

63' TRY MELBOURNE! What a pass by Billy Slater! He finds Addo-Carr for his second of the night! Smith slots the conversion for a 44-10 advantage.

70' Billy does it at the other end this time! A diving effort in the in-goal saves a certain Warriors try.

74' Smith converts. That's 8 from 8 from the skipper's boot and bring up the half century!
