Storm forward Tim Glasby has been called into Maroons camp by coach Kevin Walters as 18th man for Wednesday night's series opener at the MCG.

The 29-year old made his Origin debut last year, featuring in Games 2 and 3 in Queensland's come from behind series win. The hard working prop's solid form at Club level has seen him remain in representative calculations despite missing matches with a hand injury earlier in the season.

Glasby will join the Maroons in camp when they fly into Melbourne on Monday.
