Will Chambers will miss Sunday's Round 14 meeting with the Broncos and will not contest his dangerous contact charge from last night's Origin opener at the MCG.

The Queensland Origin representative was ruled out of the Broncos clash on Thursday after coming out of Origin with some niggling injuries and given the circumstances Storm has opted not to contest the Match Review Committee's charge.

It also mean Chambers will only receive 20 carry-over points rather than the 90 points he would have received with an early plea.

Chambers will be available for Melbourne's trip to Newcastle to face the Knights in Round 15.
