This season presented a new challenge for Dale Finucane as the Storm hard man battled his way through injury in 2018.
It was the first time since his debut season in 2012 that Finucane did not play at least 23 games in a campaign.
That is an incredible testament to his durability given the 27-year-old dares to put himself in positions few would during games.
Despite a thumb injury which hindered the middle part of his season, Finucane averaged more than 30 tackles per game including 51 in the Grand Final.
He also played his 150th NRL game in Round 12 against the Cowboys.
