All you need is 80 minutes to get excited for what the future holds.
That is all Scott Drinkwater needed to put his name up in lights at AAMI Park.
The 21-year-old playmaker earned his Storm debut in Round 25 against the Panthers after nearly two seasons of developing his game at feeder level in the Queensland Cup.
In front of more than 20,000 fans, Drinkwater turned it on whilst filling in for his childhood hero Billy Slater.
A month later the youngster re-signed to remain in Melbourne for the next two years making the upcoming pre-season and year ahead an exciting one for this untapped talent.
