Twice Jahrome Hughes was all that stood between Canterbury winger Jayden Okunbor and a game-changing try and twice the Melbourne Storm full-back dragged him to the ground.
In the midst of a frantic game on Sunday, the Bulldogs rookie winger twice broke the defensive line and set his 196-centimetre, 102-kilogram frame towards the try line.
Left in his path was Hughes who was giving up 22 centimetres and 24 kilograms to the rookie star.
"I have just got to stop him and I don't want to embarrass myself by letting him through and letting my team down," Hughes said.
