Melbourne Storm forward Dale Finucane is expected to miss the rest of the NRL home and away rounds after suffering a torn calf muscle at training.
The NSW State of Origin representative, who was due to play his 200th NRL match on Thursday night, sustained the injury at yesterday’s training session at Kawana and had scans today which confirmed the significant calf tear.
After a six-week recovery period, it is expected Finucane will be available for the start of the 2020 finals series.
