Stats that Matter: Round 1 v Wests Tigers

Our trademark Round 1 winning streak continued on Saturday night after a 26-16 win over the Wests Tigers, totalling 22 consecutive wins. 

Jahrome Hughes started the 2022 season strong with 7 tackle breaks and 2 line breaks on his way to 110 run meters. Putting down a mega try between the posts, Hughesy finished the night earning 3 Dally M points and Man of the Match (as voted by the fans). 

The Club equalled the record for the most debutants with Xavier Coates, Nick Meaney, Josh King, Tyran Wishart and Alec MacDonald all earning their numbers and getting on the field.  

George Jennings, Trent Loiero, Coates and Reimis Smith brought the remaining 4 tries with Meaney converting 3 of 5.
