Melbourne Storm coach Craig Bellamy will be forced to make two changes to his 17 for the Multicultural Round match-up with Parramatta at AAMI Park on Saturday night.
With Harry Grant testing positive to COVID-19, a new starting hooker will be needed to face the Eels. Tyran Wishart will also miss round 3 after being deemed a household contact of Grant. He has not tested positive.
The other changes come on the reserves’ list where reigning Dally M Hooker of the Year Brandon Smith has been selected in the No.23 jersey as he makes his recovery from a broken hand sustained in the opening stages of the round one clash with Wests Tigers.
Young guns Jonah Pezet and Sua Fa’alogo have been promoted to the 24-man squad with Jack Howarth (cork) and Bronson Garlick (knee) facing time on the sidelines.
Chasing three straight wins to start the season, Storm’s line-up contains players from 10 different cultural backgrounds led by the Maori contingent of eight players.
Kickoff is at 5.30pm.
