Melbourne Storm skipper Jesse Bromwich has been ruled out of tomorrow night’s match with the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks at AAMI Park after testing positive to COVID-19.
He did not take part in this morning’s training session and will have to isolate for the next seven days.
Brandon Smith will be Bromwich's replacement in the starting side while Jahrome Hughes will take on the captaincy duties.
Alec McDonald comes into the 17 on the bench for his sixth NRL game.
Jesse also missed round one as a close contact under the COVID protocols.
