Team List: Round 9 v Dragons

Melbourne Storm is again poised to take an unchanged starting line-up into the annual Emergency Services Cup match-up against St George Illawarra at AAMI Park on Sunday.

Shooting for a sixth consecutive victory in 2022, the only alteration in the Storm 17-man squad comes on the interchange bench where Jordan Grant has been named to replace Tepai Moeroa, who suffered a suspected fractured shoulder in the win against Newcastle at the weekend.

It will be a big milestone game for Storm with Kenny Bromwich becoming only the eighth player to reach 200 games for the club and Nelson Asofa-Solomona hitting the 150-game mark.

After scoring a 44-18 win in Magic Round last year, Storm will defend the Emergency Services Cup which the two clubs contest each year.

Inaugurated in 2009 after Victoria's Black Saturday Bushfires, the cup honours our Emergency Services personnel in both Victoria and NSW who dedicate themselves to protecting their local communities.

The Dragons last won the trophy in 2020, defeating a weakened Storm line-up 30-22 at their Kogarah home ground.

Sunday will be St George Illawarra’s first appearance at AAMI Park since 2018.

Kick-off is at 2pm.
