Purple Splash returns to AAMI Park

The Big Purple Splash returns to AAMI Park on Friday night to raise much-needed funds for the Starlight Children’s Foundation.

After successful campaigns in 2018 and 2019, the dunk machine will once again be wheeled out in Round 15 when Storm meet the Brisbane Broncos with willing celebrities braving the icy waters in front of the passionate purple faithful.

Starlight kids Harry and Sammi Merritt, who both suffer from Sticklers Syndrome, will have the dunking honours with gameday partner carsales generously donating $1000 per dunk, contributing to the Club’s fundraising efforts for the children’s charity who change the lives of sick kids.

The 2022 Big Purple Splash was launched last week with Storm squad members Nick Meaney, Tui Kamikamica, Dean Ieremia, Bronson Garlick and Cole Geyer braving the cold waters of the dunk machine to kick off the initiative.
