RedZed Injury Report: Round 15

Check in with the eight Storm players in the injury ward as we head into Round 15.

Ryan Papenhuyzen (knee/hamstring): Paps has been named on the extended bench for this Friday night’s game against Brisbane which would be his first game since round nine. A final decision on his availability will be made closer to gameday.

Xavier Coates (ankle): Xavier underwent successful surgery in Melbourne on Monday and returned home today. He will begin his rehab later this week and is expected to return in eight weeks.

Tom Eisenhuth (hamstring): Tom is not expected to be available for selection this week but should be okay for the following weekend.

Will Warbrick (calf): Will is 50-50 to play this week.

Tepai Moeroa (shoulder): The forward is continuing to recover from a fractured scapula and is expected to be available around round 18.

Reimis Smith (pec): Round 22 is the likely return date as Reimis recovers from the pec he tore against the Dragons in round nine.

Christian Welch (achilles): Storm’s captain continues his rehab from his round one ruptured achilles and remains an outside chance to return this year.

George Jennings (knee): Unavailable until next year.
