Team List: Round 15 v Broncos

Ryan Papenhuyzen is a step closer to making his return for Melbourne Storm after being included on the extended bench for Friday night’s round 15 match against Brisbane at AAMI Park.

The NRL’s top points scorer in 2022 hasn’t played since the Round 9 victory against the Dragons where he sustained knee and hamstring injuries.

He’s been named in the No.21 jersey this week with a decision on his availability for the Broncos clash to be made closer to gameday.

Last weekend’s debutant Grant Anderson will continue in the starting line-up on the wing and play his first game at AAMI Park, while Nelson Asofa-Solomona has been named in the starting pack, switching roles with Tui Kamikamica.

Otherwise, there are no other changes to the team that downed the Roosters at the SCG.

Brandon Smith will bring up his 99th game for Storm ahead of a potential 100th in a fortnight against Manly.

Friday night’s match will raise funds for the Starlight Children’s Foundation with various fundraising activities planned for the night. Help make every try count with the return of the Fan Pledge, with Major Partner RedZed, lined up to match all pledged donations up to $10,000. The Big Purple Splash will also make a return at halftime, with carsales donating $1,000 per dunk. Fans can also show their support by purchasing Starlight wands at the game.

Kick-off is at 7.55pm.
