On Saturday, Comely Banks Recreation Reserve was the home of the 2022 NRL Victoria Grand Finals for both the Men's and Women’s Storm Premiership as well as the Storm Junior League.
The Truganina Rabbitohs capped off a memorable season with a 48-12 victory to claim the premiership over the Altona Roosters in the NRL Victoria Men's First Grade Grand Final.
Keni Blair took home the men's Player of the Match, reflecting post-game.
“We went through a bit of a rough patch coming through the semi-finals...but we just played our game, not their game.”
Earlier in the day, the Werribee Bears edged out the Truganina Rabbitohs in the Women's First Grade Grand Final 10-6 to take out the 2022 Storm Women's First Grade Premiership.
In her final year of Victorian Rugby League, Bears Captain Tiana Kani was crowned the women's Player of the Match.
