In League In Harmony celebrated another exciting term on Monday hosting their end of season Gala day.

The term saw students from Mount Ridley P-12 College and Elevation Secondary College take part in six school-based discussion sessions, a rugby league skill clinic, ending in a celebratory gala day.

Students experienced six ‘coaches talks’ focusing on issues such as social disengagement, racism, mental health, gender inequality, and bullying all conducted by NRL Victoria education officers and current NRL Players.

Next, the students put their footy skills to the test in a clinic teaching the fundamentals of rugby league and promoting key messages such as positive communication, teamwork, courage and preparation.

Finally, after six successful weeks, In League In Harmony hosted a gala day for all schools involved to celebrate their newly acquired knowledge and skills. Students were presented with participation awards for showcasing positive attitudes and leadership qualities throughout the program.
