Kenny Bromwich: Season in Review

2022 saw the end of a decade-long career at Melbourne Storm for Kenny Bromwich.

Recording the third most tackles within Storm (700), the forward remained consistent playing a crucial role on the edge, finishing the year with six line-breaks, nine line-break assists, 2,228 total run metres, a 90.9% tackle efficiency and three tries.

In his final year in the purple jersey, Bromwich celebrated two more career milestones. Reaching 200 NRL and Storm games and alongside his brother Jesse, becoming the first set of siblings to reach 500 first-grade games at one club.

A mid-season Representative Round call-up saw the proud Kiwi represent his country of birth for the eleventh time as New Zealand faced Tonga mid-year. The second-rower will do so again when he runs out for New Zealand in the upcoming 2022 Rugby League World Cup on Monday 17 October.
