Melbourne Storm’s 2023 away jersey has arrived bringing a clean, bright and nostalgic feel to the Club’s interstate kit.
Inspired by kits of previous seasons, Melbourne will return to a full white kit, including shorts and socks when they hit the road in 2023. Adding the iconic purple on the trim around the neck, arms, shorts and socks, the final jersey is simple, yet notably Storm.
Like the home jersey, this year’s gear is ‘Made for Melbourne’, paying homage to the city that has embraced the Club for the past 25 years.
The purple strip down the middle of the jersey furthers this message, representing the laneways the city is famous for. It also showcases the journey and road to success the team are constantly travelling on and striving for.
Melbourne’s, ‘Our Home, Victoria’ slogan will also sit on the inner neck of the jersey, reminding our players of who they play for before each game.
Mimicking the home kit, the fan-favourite bolts will also return to the away jersey. Under the arms, purple bolts will span the length of the jersey, extending all the way down to align with the purple on the playing shorts.
As 2023 sets the scene for a historic year for the Club as it celebrates its 25th anniversary, the jersey will also adorn the Storm anniversary logo on the back of the neck.
