AAMI PARK CHANGES

We are excited to welcome you back to AAMI Park this Saturday for our first home game of the 2023 season.

Things will look a little different when you first take your seat this weekend and we want to make sure you are as comfortable as possible for your first game back.

As you might be aware, AAMI Park is undergoing some significant and important redevelopments in preparation for the FIFA Women’s World Cup to be played this year.  When complete, these redevelopments will provide Storm members and fans with a great experience for years to come.

We are working closely with Melbourne and Olympic Parks (MOP) to minimise the impact on both our members & fans on a game day, which is why we wanted to provide you with the following update.

The Big Screens within the seating bowl are currently being upgraded. During games 1-3, the original screen will remain in the North East corner of the stadium. A temporary second screen will also be operational in time for our second home game on Friday 24 March against the Wests Tigers. Once the new screen is operational in the South West corner, the second screen will relocate to the South East corner to ensure everyone in the stadium can view a screen while the new northern screen is completed.

Some other things to note before arriving on Saturday night:

  • There is some internal construction on the Eastern side of the stadium that may impact walkways
  • A new bar will be open pre-game located outside Gate 7

As a part of the upgrades, there will be a corporate stage constructed in section 35 between aisle 31 – 32 which will impact General Admission seating in that area.

We understand some these interruptions, while temporary, may impact on you and others at the game. We appreciate your understanding and will continue to work with AAMI Park and MOP to make sure you have the best experience possible come game day.
