Tuesday, Melbourne will show it’s ANZAC Spirit with a blockbuster cross-code triple-header set to honour the significant day.
Suncorp Super Netball, AFL and NRL are all slated to take the court and field to do what the sporting capital of Australia does best, bring people together.
With Collingwood and the Storm Group a key feature of each of the codes, the two are coming together in the name of mateship to host one of the biggest day of sports, for everyone.
Netball starts the day as the Collingwood Magpies take on the Storm Group’s Sunshine Coast Lightning at 1pm at John Cain Arena.
Punters can then head across the bridge to the MCG to watch two AFL dynasties go head-to-head when Collingwood take on Essendon, kicking off at 3.20pm.
With 35 minutes until lights out at AAMI Park, the city’s biggest sporting fans can end their day crossing the road to catch Melbourne Storm take on the New Zealand Warriors at 7pm, in their biggest and most special game of the year.
