Tom Eisenhuth will achieve the milestone of 50 NRL games on Saturday night when Melbourne Storm take on the Sydney Roosters at the SCG.
Making his NRL debut for the Penrith Panthers in Round 24 of the 2012 season, the Penrith junior plied his trade for their NSW Cup side for several seasons before being released to join Storm effective immediately midway through the 2018 season.
After being part of the 2020 Premiership winning squad, he has been a member of the Storm’s leadership group over the past two seasons, featuring eight times for Storm this season, boasting a tackle efficiency percentage of 99%.
With the ability to play as an edge or middle forward, the 30-year-old's experience and consistency off the bench has proved invaluable for the younger members of the Storm pack, with his no fuss style of play setting the standard for those around him.
A qualified schoolteacher who enjoys reading or completing a crossword on away trips, Eisenhuth’s maturity and calm nature off the field has also made him a much-loved figure amongst the playing group.
