Catch up on all the best bits from Craig Bellamy's chat with the media ahead of Storm's Round 26 clash with the Titans.

Facing the Titans

“We've had a good week. We had a seven day turn around, so that's good.”

“We've come up okay, we've trained pretty well, so hopefully we can play well tomorrow.”

“I think teams that can't make the finals, it’s exactly what you see. They've got nothing to lose.”

“Probably throw the ball around a little bit more than what they generally would... and if you don't go out and defend that well, that's when you really get hurt.”

Papenhuyzen update

“We'll see how he pulls up from training today and then if he pulls up okay and I mean 100% okay, would be a good chance that we'll put him in somewhere tomorrow.”

“Yeah, it’s 13 months since he played...we didn't expect any anything of him this year.”

“Just going through what he's gone through - I've never heard of injury like he had.

“Then not playing for 13 months, that's a long time.”

“Yeah, he is an elite player, but you know, if you don't [play rugby league] for 13 months, it takes a bit of picking up again.”

“We would have loved to have another eight weeks or six weeks in the season, but we haven't. That's just the way it is.”

“We're not gonna take any chances now and since he's been playing there's a couple of sessions he's pulled up real sore from.”

“Like I say, we'll just see how he pulls up after today and then and then go from there.”

Importance of off-field education thanks to new partnership with Kangan Institute

“I think it's really important.”

“When you start a rugby league career and you think it's going to last forever, well, it don't.”

"Been through that myself. Had a 10-year playing career at [Canberra Raiders] and after two or three years I think ‘this is going to last forever’.”

“They've got to have something that they can do at the end of their career.”
