A thank you from the CEO

What a way to close out our home and away season!

Last week’s win by our young stars not only provided us with an insight into our future, but also locked in our 13th consecutive final’s appearance.

This is an incredible achievement by all involved at the Club, particularly in another interrupted season. But we know there is more to be done in the weeks ahead as we Chase the Legacy.

While we can’t wait to begin our 2023 Final’s campaign this Friday night in Brisbane, it is important we pay tribute to those who have created a legacy for our current team over the last 25 years.

By now, I am sure you have seen our finals campaign for this year - Chase the Legacy – which pays tribute to Storm’s 25-year journey and our 2023 squad. It marks the beginning of our pursuit to chase the next chapter of our legacy – the 2023 NRL Premiership.

Speaking of creating a legacy, for Craig, this final’s series will be his 20th in the 21 seasons he has coached Storm and his 15th top-four finish.

To our members and fans who have stuck by us again this season, we cannot thank you enough. Our Purple Army has again been out in force at AAMI Park and Marvel Stadium for our home games in record numbers and the support on the road has been enormous, wherever we have played.

We are so proud to have nearly 35k members sign up again this season cheering us on each week, and we can’t wait to run out against the Broncos this Friday night as we head into another final.

Regardless of the outcome on Friday night, Storm will host a home final at AAMI Park in the coming weeks, so keep an eye on your emails and social media channels for more information.

Thank you all once again for your incredible support this season – we hope you are as excited as we are leading into the business end of the season as we Chase the Legacy.

Go Storm!

Justin Rodski
