2023 provided new challenges for Justin Olam as he recorded his sixth season in the NRL.
Experiencing what may have been one of his less notable seasons, Olam’s signature attacking abilities were never too far away with the centre going on to round out the season with six tries, 58 tackle-breaks, six line-breaks, 133 tackles and 2,152 run metres, alongside having celebrated his 100th first grade and Storm game.
It was a year like no other for the Papua New Guinean with a mid-season shift seeing him appear in six Queensland Hostplus Cup games with Melbourne feeder club, the Sunshine Coast Falcons.
The change in scenery was no hinderance to the 29-year-old, going on to win all but one game, record two line-breaks and lay down a try in his final run up north.
