It was another impressive year in the books for Cameron Munster in 2023, the star five-eighth once again racking up numbers on the stats sheet with his potent kicking game and elusive footwork.
Notching 22 appearances this season, Munster recovered from a nasty finger injury in Round 1 to return to the fold in Round 4 against the Wests Tigers where he announced his return with a solo try, one of the eight tries he scored this season.
Coming off a career-best 2022 season, the bar of expectation was always going to be set high for Storm’s main man but like he so often does, Munster continued to be an attacking force, matching his second most try assists (15) in a season.
Often on the highlights reel for his running game, 2023 saw Munster kick the football more than any other season, registering his most kick metres in a single season with 5,206 kick metres.
With Storm opting to go short more often than not, he also had the equal second most short-dropouts of anyone in the competition.
Munster was once again influential on the representative stage, donning the QLD Maroons and Australia Kangaroos jumper.
