Season in Review: Harry Grant

Crowned the Dally M Hooker of the Year, it was another impressive season for Harry Grant in 2023, the crafty hooker at his damaging best in both attack and defence. 

Grant’s running game was a key highlight once again this season, taking the most runs from dummy half in the competition (163) and scoring the most tries of any hooker in the competition with nine tries.  

Grant also had the second highest receipts in the competition with 2712 and his influence clearly rubbing off those around him, managing 12 try assists. 

What makes Grant’s attacking game even more impressive is his ability to still impact the game with ball in hand despite his massive defensive workload through the middle third of the field. 

Grant topped the tackle count across the competition, making 1065 tackles at a 91% tackle efficiency. 

Grant once again played a prominent role for both state and country, pulling on the QLD Maroons and Australian Kangaroos jumper this season.
