As is tradition, Melbourne Storm have kicked off their annual two-week training camp at Geelong Grammar as the Club continues their pre-season push to Round 1.
Each year since the initial camp in 2015, the complete Storm contingent move down to Geelong to for a fortnight of eating, sleeping and breathing rugby league.
53 days away from their blockbuster season opener against three-time reigning premiers the Penrith Panthers at AAMI Park, Storm will have a chance to lock in as they strive to continue coach Craig Bellamy’s 20-year Round 1 win-streak.
Continuing the Club’s commitment to developing their Pathway system, this year the NRL squad will be joined by the U17s, U19s, U21s and Storm Academy groups for portions of the two-week training intensive at the school.
Storm will play two trial matches prior to the kick-off of the 2024 Premiership Season, facing off against the Canterbury Bankstown Bulldogs in Belmore on February 15, before jetting to Fiji to take on the Newcastle Knights on February 24 at Churchill Park, Lautoka.
