Melbourne Storm’s Jersey Flegg side have been defeated 38-8 by the Sydney Roosters in Round 9 of the Jersey Flegg competition.
In an afternoon where things didn't seem to fall Storm's way, the visitors jumped out of the gates to gain a commanding 20-0 lead at the break before Storm were able to add two tries late in the piece.
After both sides exchanged sets inside the opening 10 minutes, the Roosters opened the scoring through Ethan Roberts before Benjamin Taylor doubled their advantage a few minutes later.
