Junior Rep Report: Round 14
Melbourne Storm’s Jersey Flegg side narrowly went down 22-18 to the Penrith Panthers in Round 14 of the NSWRL competition.
Battling away for the entirety of the contest, Storm pressed the Panthers right down to the final siren but ultimately fell just short in what was an entertaining game played out on AAMI Park.

Wearing the Club’s 2024 Indigenous jersey, Storm landed the first blow, Oscar Amosa showing plenty of skill to slide over in the corner in the 7th minute before Storm extended its lead by a further two-points thanks to a Josh Berryman penalty goal.
Panthers hit back with two tries to leave the game delicately poised coming out of the break.
Much like the first, both teams traded tries in the second half and despite an Angus Hinchey double putting Storm within striking distance, the siren sounded to cut a late comeback short.
Storm have a short turnaround as they look to bounce back in the best possible fashion, taking on the Sharks tomorrow night in Sydney.
