Junior Rep Report: Round 16

Melbourne Storm’s Jersey Flegg have come back from Fiji victorious, after an exciting performance at Prince Charles Park defeating the Silktails 28-10 in Round 16.

Storm came out with a bang in the opening two minutes of the contest with Gabriel Satrick storming out of dummy half to crash over the try-line, giving Storm an early lead.

Five-eighth Joshua Berryman furthered Storm’s lead after a tough fight to the try-line to find luck on their right edge, leading the charge 10-0.

The away team continued to find success and ride their momentum, scoring the next two tries to make it four straight. Gabriel Satrick made it a double, breaking through the middle with Chase Paterson following his lead in the 26th minute holding Storm’s lead of 18-0.

Matthew Hill also scored a double during the clash with line breaks on the left and right edge with his final effort right on the stroke of full time to put an exclamation mark on the Storm victory.

Storm will be back on home soil at AAMI Park on Saturday against the Bulldogs with kick-off at 4:45pm.
