Chan suspended for tackle charge

Melbourne Storm forward Joe Chan has entered an early guilty plea after copping a Grade 2 Careless High Tackle charge in his side's victory over the Roosters.

Chan was sent to the sin bin for the shot on Roosters forward Victor Radley in the 46th minute and accepted the two game ban handed down by the judiciary.

Facing a three game ban should he have fought the suspension and lost, Chan will now be available for selection in the Club's Round 23 match against the Rabbitohs.

It was one of two charges for the Storm forward following the win, with Chan receiving a Grade 1 Dangerous Contact charge for a tackle on Dominic Young early in the second half. He is facing an $1800 fine with the early guilty plea.
