Melbourne Storm will welcome Stefano Utoikamanu to its NRL squad from 2025 after the front-rower signed a three-year contract until the end of 2027.
Regarded as one of the best young forwards in the game, Utoikamanu has played 73 NRL matches, and last season made his representative debut for New South Wales in State of Origin and Samoa in the Pacific Championships.
A Cabramatta Two Blues junior, Utoikamanu played for Parramatta's under-20s team in 2018 and 2019 before playing for Wentworthville in the Intrust Super Premiership.
He represented NSW at under-18 and under-20 level and made his NRL debut for Parramatta in round nine of the 2020 NRL season where he played three games.
The 24-year-old has spent the past four seasons at Wests Tigers.
“Stefano is an exciting young forward and also an impressive young man,” Storm General Manager Football, Frank Ponissi said today.
“I’m sure he’s going to come with a hard-working attitude and be ready for a big pre-season when he joins us later this year.
“We are excited to welcome Stefano and his family to the Club.” Ponissi said.
