NRL Victoria's junior competition went from strength to strength in 2024, with the year celebrated at the very first Storm Junior League Awards.
2024 proved to be a record-breaking year for Melbourne Storm Junior League, with 5,589 participants taking part across junior and senior competitions statewide. 19 Metro clubs entered junior teams this season, with 12 divisions – the highest number to date.
Victorian born Storm outside back Young Tonumaipea attended the Storm Junior League Awards Night, speaking to the junior attendees as well as presenting winners with their awards. The event was a great success, a true testament to the growth and commitment of our junior league programs.
