Melbourne Storm Commence 10th Annual Geelong Training Camp

With the 2025 season fast approaching, Melbourne Storm have kicked off their annual training camp at Geelong Grammar School.

Players, coaches and staff have assembled in Geelong for two weeks of high intensity training as the squad continues to build towards the season opener against Parramatta Eels at AAMI Park.

This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Geelong camp, which commenced in January 2016 and has since proved a crucial cog in Storm’s season preparation.

The first-class facilities at Geelong Grammar provide the players, coaches and staff with excellent resources and equipment for their extensive two-week program, including multiple training pitches, a gym, swimming pool, dining rooms and dormitories.

As a sign of the Club’s growth over this 10-year period, for the first time ever, every Melbourne Storm squad will be in attendance throughout the two weeks, including the NRL squad, Senior and Junior Academy, U21s, U19s and U17s.

Storm commence their NRL preparation with trial matches against the New Zealand Warriors in Hamilton on Saturday 15 February, before hosting North Queensland Cowboys at Casey Fields on Sunday 23 February.

The Harold Matthews (U17) and SG Ball (U19) competitions kick-off their season on Saturday 1 February, with the Jersey Flegg (U21) starting in line with the NRL season.
