All three of Melbourne Storm's feeder teams were in action over the weekend for Round 4 of the Queensland and NSW Cup competitions.
North Sydney Bears
The North Sydney Bears played their best game of the year over the weekend, securing their first win of the season. Despite challenging conditions and a very wet match at Jubilee Stadium on Saturday afternoon, the Bears held their own and managed to stay composed, ultimately securing a 28-24 victory over host side, the Dragons.
The Bears' lineup featured Jonah Pezet, who played his first match back after recovering from an ACL injury. Pezet played a solid 41-minutes and was a vital asset in the team's win.
Moses Leo made his first NRL game appearance since switching from Rugby 7s. Leo played the full 80 minutes and played a significant role in the Bears' victory, showing great comfort and fitting well into his new code.
The Bears will be hoping to continue their winning form next weekend as they face off against the third ladder Panthers.
